Pastor Mike Lee and the congregation of Hope Community Church were meeting in a converted warehouse they turned into a “makeshift” church building when Mike reached out to Brad for help. It seemed that the Fire Marshall was growing concerned about the “fire trap” that Hope called home! A very generous person had given the church land and it was time for Hope to design and build a modern, state-of-the–art church building that accurately reflected who they are to the community they are called to reach. Rather than using a typical church architect, Mike partnered with Brad to design a unique church building that would allow for growth while remaining within budget. Hope outgrew the new, 90,000 square foot, 1500 seat facility in just a couple years and Brad was called back to design several more church buildings at various campuses for Hope.
